These locking pliers feature a lower jaw that can pivot from any of 4 positions to grasp odd-shaped objects. A hinged platform on the lower jaw lets the jaw conform to the shape of the workpiece for a better grip. The tensioning thumbscrew is located on the spine of the fixed handle for one-hand operation. A lever on the other handle releases the jaws when squeezed. The jaws and handles have a chrome-plated finish with an orange PVC coating on the release handle.
