Beta Tools (Article# 1133) Cutter for Large Electrical Cables - BT 11330001

Designed specifically for cutting insulated copper or aluminum electrical cables (such as battery cables). The hooked jaws are designed to keep large-diameter cables from slipping out for a cleaner cut. The silver-colored handles have orange PVC covers to cushion the grip. The black-finished jaws are replaceable. This size measures 600mm (24 in) long (L) for extra leverage. Maximum cable diameter 32mm including insulation (IECC 60228 size 300mm square or 0000 AWG). Note: These cutters are designed for use on soft materials such as stranded copper or aluminum only. Attempting to cut harder materials will damage the jaws.
