The special split design of the tie rod spanner completely encloses the hexagon on the adjusting thread of the tie or push rods. This ensures uniform force transmission on the complete hexagon to the adjustment thread and prevents slipping and turning. This eliminates the need for an expensive replacement of the entire tie or push rod.
