The jaw pivot geometry has been optimized for a lower force to cut over the tool's life. Cut soft materials (31HRC) up to 1/2" or 13mm thick, medium materials (42HRC) up to 7/16" or 11mm thick and hard materials (48HRC) up to 3/8" or 10mm thick with the 30" fiberglass bolt cutter.
