Space age Nitro-Carbonized steel withstands higher drilling temperatures while maintaining sharpness. Precision ground point, flutes, body clearance and drill diameter give you the ultimate in accuracy and performance. Recommended for use in work-hardened grades of stainless steel and other hard metal drilling applications. Premium grade KnKut drills are manufactured from a high grade Molybdenum high speed steel, that has high vanadium content. KnKut performance drills are salt nitride treated, actually penetrating the tools surface giving KnKut drills the hardness to drill tough materials such as stainless steel and titanium alloy.
