Beta Tools (Article# 612) Reversible Ratchet for Torque Bars, 3/8 in Square Drive - BT 6120000
A reversible ratchet is a mechanism that allows rotational motion in one direction while preventing it in the opposite direction. It is commonly used in tools like socket wrenches and torque bars to enable users to apply force in a specific direction while maintaining the tool's position when the force is released.
Features:
- This ratcheting head fits all Beta Tools torque bars with a 16mm diameter drive (608 or 668 series, sold separately)
- The 3/8 in square drive is reversible for right-hand (clockwise) or left-hand (counter-clockwise) tightening
- The unique reversing mechanism uses a low-profile slider that snaps positively from side to side
- Should not be used with tightening torques exceeding 100 Nm
